STSI Pilot/Methodological Study Awards
The November 14th deadline is approaching for the 2nd quarter Scripps Translational Science Institute (STSI) Pilot/Methodological Study Awards. STSI wishes to make pilot study opportunities available to the broadest possible segment of our academic community.
NOTE: Some TSRI investigators have asked whether it is possible for a postdoctoral fellow to submit an application for these awards. According to the TSRI Administrative Guidelines, postdoctoral fellows cannot apply for grants, either as a principal investigator or co-principal investigator, without prior approval from the corresponding departmental chair. If so approved the intent is for the postdoctoral fellow to carry the grant forward to an independent investigator position.
The option also exists for a postdoctoral fellow to be supported within the budget of a study awarded to a TSRI investigator.
